This policy explains what Azarexa LLC ("we"), operator of chalkbrief.com, does with your personal information. We keep it short because we collect little.
What we collect
- When you buy: your name (if you enter one), email address, billing country and postal code, the product bought, the amount, and the order and download records. Payment details (card number, expiry, security code) go directly to Stripe, our payment processor; we never see or store them.
- When you write to us: your email and what you write.
- When you visit: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited, time) and advertising measurement cookies or pixels (for example Meta Pixel) that tell us which ads and pages led to a purchase, unless you opt out.
Why we use it
- To deliver your download and provide support (performance of the contract).
- To send you an order confirmation, the download link, and occasional emails about our products. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time (legitimate interest).
- To measure and improve our site and advertising (legitimate interest; you can opt out at any time).
- To prevent fraud and comply with law, including tax records.
Who we share it with
Service providers who process data for us under contract: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting, delivery and security), our email provider (transactional and marketing email), Meta (advertising measurement, unless you opt out). We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the checkout working. We also use an advertising measurement pixel (Meta) so we can tell which ads lead to a purchase. The "Opt out of tracking" link at the bottom of every page turns it off on your device with one tap, and we do not load the pixel at all if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. You can undo that choice by clearing this site's data in your browser, and you can block cookies in your browser settings. Our store is offered to customers in the United States.
How long we keep it
Order records for as long as tax law requires (generally 7 years). Marketing email data until you unsubscribe. Server logs for a short period for security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, the EU or UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising, and to withdraw consent. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email [email protected]; we will verify your identity by replying to the email used at checkout and respond within the time the law allows. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Children
Our site and products are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, store as little as possible, and rely on Stripe and Cloudflare for payment and infrastructure security. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will notify you as the law requires.
